It just keeps snowing at Mount Washington!
The pattern has been locked in for the past few days with a trough offshore pumping lots of moisture across Vancouver Island -

Very wet snow
We had about 7 centimetres of snow earlier today but it has now changed to rain. Glad I didn't shovel the driveway as it should mostly be gone by morning I think! Looks like not much change in the weather pattern the next few days with an upper low off the coast sending moisture bands across Vancouver Island.
Should be a good snow pattern for the mountains especially Mount Washington Resort as the freezing level stays fairly low. If you add up all the snow forecast in the next six days, there should be over 100 centimetres of additional snow up there. I plan to do a lot of x-country skiing before and during the holidays.
